The performance is over. Stage lights out. I still remember the lights, the shimmer. The sense of wonder in the circus-like music, each and every one of us with painted faces, heavily rouged cheeks, tiny rosebud lips and round eyes adorned with thick black lashes. It went beautifully; each step was filled with adrenaline, with a strong but graceful end. The excited faces, the happy grins. I will always remember all these, my very first charity show performance. A cheerful show for a bright cause. Thank you all for bringing these to being. I have learned a lot through this one month journey with you, and feel utterly blessed for the ending to be so wonderful.
