A little more loving as panacea for pain

In the aftermath of the recent bombing in Boston, I’ve noticed an uproar in the comments posted by people when some started comparing the lack of compassion given to the rest of the world’s happenings (i.e. Middle Eastern bombings) to the deep concern expressed for the poor victims of the Boston marathon bombing. Needless to say, from these comparisons, the Americans start accusing the Muslims as the terrorists and vice versa.

Reading all the insults people hurl at each other makes me feel that people are still too embroiled in hatred. Have they not learned from the lessons in 9/11 that hatred only results in violence and sorrow? I wish that more people around the world will just learn to empathise for each other and understand that hate only begets more hate. The world would be a much better place if people do not start pointing fingers at others for their pain and wallow in self-pity, but instead, work towards helping each other lessen their pain.

Ok I will stop here in case people start wondering if I am practising some cliche lines for a beauty pageant. World peace! V^0^V

Sometimes I manifest as an elf, sometimes I take the form of a daisy. But oftentimes, I wish I am a fairy.

  1. Hey! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering if you knew
where I could find a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having trouble finding one?
    Thanks a lot!

    1. Sorry for the late reply but I’m kinda new to wordpress I only just figured out that I needed to approve comments to reply to them, so I dunno what you mean =/ Sorry I can’t help!

  2. magnificent put up, very informative. I ponder why the opposite experts
of this sector do not notice this. You must continue your writing.

    1. Thank you for your encouraging comment! I just merely wrote my feelings regarding this unfortunate incident, didn’t expect any comments or even any readers’ base =)
